  Just don’t get Lunch Special. Buon Gusto just doesn’t ‘get’ what a ‘lunch special’ is. It’s a lower price for a full lunch to encourage people on their lunch break to come to your restaurant. Their ‘lunch special’ menu is really a ‘senior’ menu — lower prices for smaller portions. And, by the time you’re done dining there, you’ll be a senior. The service is good but the food comes out of the kitchen so slowly. It took 20 minutes for the Bruschetta appetizer (toasted bread with Italian salsa). Then another 20 for the first entree, and another 20 minutes for the last entree. So, over an hour and a half for a business lunch. Not so good if you lunch break is 30 minutes or even an hour. With travel to and from the office it’s at least a 2 hour marathon.27 Jun, 2014Slow service, on the expensive side, an the food is only Ok.

  I ordered the spaghetti Calamaritti afflogatta (I hope I spelled it correctly) and it was superb. The calamari was tender and delicious and did not overwhelm or dominate the other flavors of the sauce. Overall, the dish was very balanced.

  Great food! And it is open, not closed!!. I haven’t been to Buon Gusto in about two years, this evening we had a delicious (as good as we remember) meal. It was like walking back home again, the same wait staff who all recognized us and celebrated our visit. The beautiful thing was that not only they were friendly and nice to us, but to all the other diners. My favorite was the crab cake appetizer, i’m a seafood lover so the pescatoreis my dish! Clean and clear as a spring day!
