Assam is a small neighborhood place in North Hollywood, a hangout for locals on limited budgets and especially those with irregular hours, since Assam stays open until 3 AM.Went there with my son, who wanted to show me one of his local hangouts. Overall, good Indian food with an eclectic selection of regional dishes. Quality seemed fine and seasonings were good and made to our specifications, including a medium vindaloo that actually had taste instead of just heat:)
