  Full points to them for their curries, they were hot enough to suit the Indian palate and their garlic naan bread was very well done too. The servers though weren’t as courteous as usually are at almost every other place, that was a little bit of a turn off but the food more than compensated for it.

  I must start by saying one thing: They know their curries to death! This is why it is my go-to place when I’m in the mood for some truly delicious and AUTHENTIC Indian food. The chefs there know the right mix of spices and tempering required for most of the curries they serve and the result is simply a treat for the customers. An affordable restaurant with GREAT taste was something I had been looking for a long time in LA and I couldn’t be happier that I found it. Lal Mirch has great lunch specials. So all tourists and fans of Indian food, feel free to visit this restaurant as it will be well worth your money. P.S Their Dal Tadka is not to be missed! Truly, I’m a big fan!

  I was here for the first time @ lunch and the first thing that I noticed were the reasonable lunch special prices. Most places that serve Indian do a buffet style lunch but not these guys! When the food came out I was blown away by the portion that my friend and I recieved and the food was delicious. After lunch, I had to comment on the food. In my conversation, the gentleman said the chef had cooked in India for 30 years. Great food + great service = 5 star review
