So I had The Federal’s OMH (oh my habaero) with their parmesan cheese fries. Gotta say- I was very disappointed. Though the presentation was deceiving. It wasn’t bad, but I would have preferred In-N-Out – in taste and in price. However, the Sea Dog Blueberry beer was delicious.
You definitely want fries with that! the best fries ever… crispy… garlicky… parmesany. great burger. very friendly staff. already planning my next visit. the lounge area in the back has great sofas…perfect for nuzzling with a date. did I already mention the fries?
Federal Case?. I can say the food was good, everyone liked what they ordered (all 6 people), our only beef with the food was where’s the beef?. Yes sounds strange but after drinks and dinner not one of us was even near full. We opted to skip ordering dessert, and went south to Ventura Bl. to finish our night.I’m not sure if it was the lack of being able to speak without yelling or as one of my guest put it, the fear of having to wait for our server who was dubbed SLOW POKE (maybe she was new?) if she was new, my apologies.A good mix of people of in the Venue and the decor was awesome (art deco). If you don’t feel the need to dress fancy or you want to dress fancy this place will support what ever mood. You should try it at least once, Maybe just have a light meal before your meal?25 May, 2011Stoked to try it. I’ll let everyone know what I think after tomorrow night.
