Solid. Very good cheap mexican food. Everything I have tried is tasty and quality ingredients. There are so many mexican food places in san diego: mostly bad and some awesome. This is not the very best in san diego, but the best in university heights by far. I am glad I am close. Plus – family owned and very friendly. Carne asada supreme burrito is in contention for the best in san diego.
Best chile relleno I’ve had. The chorizo potato rolled tacos are great. The gigante burrito is big enough for two meals. For a great value that’s delicious get a chille relleno Bahia bowl which comes with a drink and costs only 4.99.
Great family run place. I eat here almost everyday. They have veggie options and whole wheat tortillas, plus the service is always fun. Good salsa bar, I like to mix and match, always popular with my friends and their burrritos are huge!
