Excelente. We have been to several Mexican restaurants in recent weeks, since moving to San Diego. El Sol Mexican is by far, the best that we have had.The guac/salsa is to die for. We had a shredded chicken and shredded chicken taco combo plate and a California burrito combo plate – all food was fresh, popped with flavor and huge portions. I can’t imagine finding anything better than this quaint restaurante that dishes out authenticity like there’s no tomorrow. The service was stellar and the waitress was very helpful in suggesting fare for our first visit. We will definitely return!
