Mr. Brown. This place has the tastiest and healthiest Ethippian dish. Try their gluten free Engera (spongy bread) with their veggy combo! I am diabetic and this place is a place for me to feast. Ecellent service and family owned. Come with family and romane. Simply perfect! Try it and you will be back over and over.

There are three Ethiopian joints in San Diego. This one has the best food. The atmosphere and location leave a little to be desired, but if you want kick ass Ethiopian food, this is where you should eat it. If you want a little more hip surroundings, go to Muzita.

I like Harar. The location is nice and close to me. Food is good. Prices are affordable. This is Ethiopian so I found that while service is friendly it is never fast. Red Sea is still my fave but Harar has some different dishes which is nice.

Great place for date night. Super friendly and helpful service while ordering from the menu with many items that were unfamiliar to us. We loved the bread and eating very savory meats and vegetable dishes with our fingers was a lot if fun. A little pricey compared to the Ethiopian restaurants on ECB or University but restaurant had a better atmosphere so it was worth it. Only thing we didn’t like is one of the meat dishes was a little overcooked and tough. Otherwise, we enjoyed it and will return.
