This is now my go-to Italian place in town. I’ve been to quite a few Italian places ranging from hole in the wal to very upscale. Paesono’s is somewhere in between. The original owner (must be in his 70s) still works there setting tables and clearing dishes. He greets every table and makes sure you feel welcomed. The atmosphere is casual and the decor is probably from the early 80s but that gives this place it’s charm. We went on a Friday and it was very busy. We made reservations which turned out to be a good idea. Now onto the food.Overal the food was one of the best italian I’ve had. All our dishes were definately made to order (or at least baked to order). Some items we ordered included the eggplant parm, veggie pizza, veggie lasagna, manacoti ad bruschetta. One unique thing about this place is that it offers a half-half entree option where you can order two half sized entrees if can’t decide on a single dish. This place is definately vegetarian friendly. The wait staff were very friendly. One downside was that service was slow, but it was a packed house and everything looks to be made fresh so the wait was not only warranted, but also worth it.

Food was disappointing. Theyre not even italian. Had chunks of ricotta in my lasagna and the ravioli was chewy. They came out so steaming hot i had ti wait for it to cool down in between each bite. Chicken parm was full of breading. Garlic bread wasnt good. All around would never go back. How dies this place get suxh good ratings? Maybe the pizza.

I love the old Italian music they play. The food is so good and great in pricing too!

Great Food. Food was extremely hot, as in temperature and very tasty. Service was a bit slow but friendly, only one server for entire restaurant on a Thursday night. Pricing is good for the amount and quality of food. I will definitely go back. Atmosphere very casual.
