This place is so good! I got a free entree for my birthday. Which saved me a bit of money. I got the beef stroganoff which was awesome. For my appetizer I got borscht which is a Russian beet soup with meat.I also got a free shot of vodka for my birthday. They put a candle on your glass for the birthday shot. I also tried another persons chicken meatloaf cutlets and those were really good as well.I was with the Foodie Nerds. The bathroom here is pretty funny, like the picture of the statue fountain that looks like it’s peeing. Also good stuff comes in, gross stuff comes out is written on the bathroom walls lol.
MRS MOLL. My husband and I love new experiences, we tried Pomegranate for the first time. The cheese bread is a must try but the more traditional Borsch was excellent. My husband has gone back again since and says the Lamb shank is the best he has ever had.
Still great, but not cash only. A colleague who lives in the area recommended the place. I finally drove down from north county. Loved it. Other reviews say it all; but they did take a credit card, contrary to older posts.
Borsch & more!. Great meal! Loved the spicy ice cream!
We’ve lived in North Park for over 5 years and had never been to the Pomegranate Russian Georgian before until this evening. The authentic Russian food was excellent. I had the Chakhokhbili (georgian Eagle) and the Fish soup. The atmosphere and the staff were memorable. I have to go back to try other dishes. The menu had a host of things to eat, even for those of us counting calories. The price was comparable to any excellent restaurant. I would highly recommend the Pomegranate Russian Georgian Restaurant to any one.
Very Good. We are from out-of-town and have gone to this restaurant twice now in the last six months. Both experiences have been very positive. Each time the service has been very good and the food has been excellently prepared. I very much recommend this restaurant.
Great restaurant, the dishes are all about flavor, and the place itself is very unique. The portions are big, probably worth sharing. We will definitely go back.
