  Toronado – SD. Finally got to the Toronado, well at least one of the two. I decided to drive down to San Diego on my last day in California. I have been dieing to check out this place ever since I set up my trip. I got there a few minutes after they opened the dutch doors and got a seat at the bar. Eric, my bartender, was awesome. He really knew his stuff and I never had to wait for a new beer. I got hungry and he suggested a burger so I just went with that and it was perfectly cooked and tasted awesome.Now for the good part, the beer. Since this place is considered to be one of the best places in the area, possibly even the country, to have a beer I couldn’t leave this part out. The tap list at the time was very good and after having a few of them I switched over to their amazing bottle list. Where else can you get a bottle of Cable Car? Oh right, only at the Toronado. You would be hard pressed to find a better selection of beer anywhere in the area, let alone the country.I am so glad I made the drive down from Orange to finally visit this place. I can’t wait to stop in here the next time I am in the area. One of the best for sure.

  Can’t wait to return. Excellent selection of Belgian and Belgian-style beers and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. The atmosphere is casual, crowd eclectic, and prices right. I can’t wait until my next visit to SD
