This is a wonderful find in Oakland. The service was friendly, attentive and kindly took our group photo! The food was delicious and varied enough for a wide range of tastes. The atmosphere was fun and festive while allowing for good conversation.
This is Mexican food as fine dining. Excellent moles, good drinks. It reminds me of a LA Mexican restaurant as the food and atmosphere are more sophisticated than most local places.
We have eaten here many times now and the food is consistent, flavorful and good portion size. We have been to Oaxaca many times and this cuisine is like eating right off the main plaza. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
