Math on the plate. I have been going to Cafe Lakeview, happily, for the past year. Until this week… I know minimum wage has increased. I know the costs of restaurants is tight. Its hard to make a profit in this arena. That being said, I don’t believe the math I see on my plate. I don’t. Too bad, because I have liked eating there and there aren’t enough places to get decent breakfast in Oakland! Their food is good, the staff is excellent. The service friendly.But I don’t believe what I see on my plate.Guess I will be cooking more. I regret this. Both my cooking and the sad results of bad math.
