This is a good neighborhood spot with decent food and service and owners who care that their customers have a decent experience.I’ve driven by Grand Oaks I don’t know how many times over the past 20 years and never thought to go check it out. It wasn’t until I saw a review on Check Please that I decided to give it a try. Tonight, a friend and I wanted a good old fashioned steak and so we decided to give it a try. Glad we did. I got a 12 oz plus cut rib eye smothered in onions and mushrooms for $26 including salad and sides of smashed potatoes and sauteed veggies. All delish and enough leftovers for another meal.This is definitely a bar type pub experience including multiple TVs all dialed in sports channels. If you’re looking for a sports bar type experience with decent food that won’t have you empty your wallet.. you’ll be happy.
