So I went here for lunch the other day since I have passed by it a number times all in the hope of finding some good BBQ. It was okay but the price that I paid for the lunch ($20+) has made me not ever go back. Not the best and definitely not the worst BBQ I have had. Just did not like it enough to care to go back.
Persistance pays off. I have to say it has been difficult to try this place. The hours and mine haven’t lined up. WOW, great place, nice people.The brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, coleslaw and greens were all EXCELLENT. Generous portions too.So glad that they opened in Oakland. When your there pop next door and buy a package of Swedish rolls. Another fav.
