This place is beyond excellent! Between the food and the customer service there wasn’t any room for improvement. By far one of the best experiences we have ever had eating out. The staff was wonderful and very thoughtful. Treated each customer like family. The food and desserts were so delicious.
A #1. I’ve been going through Hungry Lu’s sub sandwich menu one by one looking for a favorite and so far they’re all tied for first. of course they offer a lot more. their baked goods look delicious and friends who have had their pizza also rave about it. friendly service and reasonable prices… i doubt if they could improve anything.
Kansas City visitor. Hungry Lu’s is a class act. Not only is the food great but the service and friendly atmosphere is even better. The owner saw me eyeballing one of his butter cookies and he just gave me one free. If I ever return, I will be eating here daily.

I love it. I’d tried several different sandwiches (all delicious) every other week or so until about a month ago when I had #17 (a warm, hot cappicola). Safe to say I’m happily addicted.
