This cafe was one of my favorite coffee places in Ocean Beach, an eclectic community once known as the Haight-Ashbury of San Diego. The service is fine, they have free WiFi with ample outlets, its right near the beach, typically very quiet in the morning, and the coffee and food is outstanding. I still dream about the breakfast burritos sometimes* the beach nearby is dog-friendly, but bring your own bags. copulacoffee.com
Chilled beach cafe. This joint rocks. Chilled out atmosphere and staff. The menu has everything you could think of and if it doesn’t they will try. It was packed on a monday morning with a mix of travellers, locals, surfers etc. Free wifi is always a drawcard too. The communal tables inside or the seating out front are both good options. The coffee menu is as extensive as i have seen. My oatmeal with banana, raisins and peanut butter was a classic.Great spot to hit up…

What’s there not to love?!. Good coffee, good food, ocean view, hip neighborhood. What’s there not to love about this place?
