This place is a gold mine for all health conscious people, and especially vegetarians and vegans. The prices are unbeatable for the high quality of products they produce and maintain, and even better with the cooperative card, which had fairly inexpensive annual dues if I remember correctly. I think what really set this place apart for me, though, was how incredibly delicious the food, pastries, and desserts were upstairs, in their cafe. I was continuously excited to see what new thing they had that day, as nothing tasted like it was ‘good for you’.ever. The quinoa salads, the marinated chunks of tofu, the luscious chocolate puddings, bars, and freshly baked cookies were so tasty, and completely vegan. Even the odd item called liquid aminos, placed at the salad bar, as a flavor enhancer, was shockingly good. Downstairs, in the grocery section, they had an excellent selection of freshly ground nut butters, and the high protein bread, toasted for breakfast was the best. copulacoffee.com
