My Husband found this online before our vacation week. We came here for breakfast and it was everything we imagined from the pics on their website! I had the Kanaka Ono Bagel, plain… DELICIOUS! My Husband ordered the Maui Acai bowl…. Delicious! Service was great; the cafe is beautiful with inside and outside seating. When we visit Ocean Beach again, we’ll definitely go back to Te Mana…. By the way, it was so good, we went back for dinner and tried a combo plate!!! Again, delicious. You can order 3 different sauces to go with it. I enjoyed the spicier sauce, my husband enjoyed the BBQ sauce.
The Te Mana was just 2 blocks from our hotel in the Ocean Beach district of San Diego. It is just a breakfast & lunch place. The hotel manager told us it was pet friendly & it was. Fantastic breakfast deals; 3 eggs, bacon & banana waffle for just $5! The coffee was superb and the orange juice nice & fresh. The Te Mana has a tropical island kind of feel. Tables inside or on the enclosed patio. Service was quick and the owner & staff very friendly. We felt like we were dining with friends. Well be back for lunch!
Had a heavenly dread lox there! My wife got the 32 oz acai bowl with peanut butter that we both enjoyed. Overall a quality breakfast place. The only downside is the several upcharges that the cashier (owner?) offered without stating that it’s an upcharge, so we paid a bit more than we expected to.
Great Coffeeshop and Food. I love Te Mana! The place is an old Craftsman home now coffeehouse so it is very relaxing and it is great to sit on the porch and feel like this is your own home. Eating indoors or outdoors. The setting is very green outside with luscious plants. The food is delicious with vegetarian and gluten free options. They aren’t open on Wednesdays. On cool days they have the fireplace going. You have to check this hidden coffeeshop in Ocean Beach out! Hawaiian feel is fabulous and the owners Jason and Marguerite are so kind.
