The ambiance was perfect. The Red Trolley Ail was a great staff selection to accompany my order of fish and chips.. The Alaskan cod was to die for, the best I have ever eaten anywhere in the world. That includes England, Malta, Canada and Scotland. This restaurant should be on your must visit list
Pgh visitor. The boathouse was a big dissapointment.
Poor management. Ordered filet mignon that came with $5 side of asparagus, wanted $4 side of mashed potatoes instead by was a $3 up charge. Made zero sense. Left credit card in bill holder and they were too busy to look for it at that time. Had to cancel card.
Brunch, shrimp and crab omelette was missing the crab and the shrimp were so tiny I think they came out if a can…and the pastry basket consisted of 2 blueberry muffins that might have been baked in an easy bake oven!
Very good place, nice atmosphere and view of the boats and water. A little pricey, but it is one of the best places my wife and I have been to.
Went for restaurant week. Appetizers and entrees were delicious. Bruschetta, ceviche, seared ahi, curry mahimahi, cheesecae were all yummy! The expresso- chocholate cake was only disappointment.
Wed nite $9.99 1-lb Maine lobster. It’s served with a little rice and some really great sourdough bread. Smells fishy. View of harbor beautiful. Wait staff fine. My favorites were the sour dough bread and cream brle.
