Amazingg sushi!! Love the food. The salmon is soo tender and tastes greatt. One thing i didnt appreciate is the service. We were at the bar ordering directly from the chef. We asked for recommendations but he wasnt very friendly. However he still made us great rolls and thanks for that!Definitely recommended!!
Definitely one of the nicest sushi places I’ve been to. Service was lovely and the waitstaff even helped me out with my travel plans! I would definitely recommend trying out everything especially the sashimi
We arrived late for lunch. It was 2:40pm and they closed at 3:00pm, but that wasn’t a problem for staff. They just said that we should order everything we wanted as the kitchen would be closing. We ordered the Sushi Party. DELISH! Staff and service were great, and the food was even better. Even though we came in late, and were the last to leave by a few minutes, they never rushed us or let the service level drop. Nice job! And GREAT SUSHI!
So just forget about any other sushi place you are considering and head to old town. They have a fantastic selection of vegetarian, everything is fresh and local, and the favors are fantastic. This is the second time I have been here, and this time we had the avocado nigiri, avocado maki, salmon nigiri, Nicole nigiri, culichi wa roll and nasa nigiri. The presentation is stunning and the prices are moderate for San Diego. I feel like the indoor atmosphere is a little club-like with the music level, but just ask for outdoor seating on one of their patios. Hands down this is a must visit restaurant every time I am in San Diego.
They have good quality sushi and the music was grat this Saturday night. Definitely recommend it as a spot to meet with friends or go on a Date night. Great roll options. My ‘Andy2Roll’ was delicious 🙂
Probably the best sushi in San Diego. Went to a few other sushi places before going to harney’s. But not this is it. Old town has its own aura. I can roam around and explore the shops around and taste the best sushi.
One of my favorite restaurants in San Diego. Great sushi and very knowledgable and helpful staff. Don’t miss this one!
