Cosi, cosi, I guess that is Italian for so so. This is a bakery that predominantly sells bundt cakes (hence the title). These are offered in different sizes, priced accordingly, but basically it is the same batter disguised in different and sweet ways, and the icing is what you one would call: plain average. Still, they seem to be thriving in their Temecula location, and must be said that the lady that helped us out to choose was very nice and professional. We opted for their smallest size Bundts , and these are the size of muffins, which when sold by the dozen they cost at the time $20. They also sell in 8 and 10 inches cakes (8 inches, and 10 inches), and claim their 8 inch serves 8-10, and their 10 inch 18-20. Frosted in a bakery box for the 10 inch, $21 and decorated $32. For the 10 inch, $31 and $42, respectively. They also offer Tiered Bundt Cakes (8 inch over 10 inch cake) serving 26-30 for $69, and also Bundlet Towers, and the ones we got, Mini bundt cakes, serving 1-2 for $4.49 a piece. They have 9 classic flavors, and 40 designs, this franchise serves all of those, who at one time or another, must come up with some kind of sweets to take to a party, in our case we had been invited to a Thanksgiving dinner, and this place was the one we chose. Some might love these creations, but at the end of the day, they are not what one would describe as above average. They taste all around average, but they manage to look good, and possibly if decorated with personal suggestions, they can easily impress recipients and guests alike. As a franchise they seem to do well, based on their Temecula location, and we ended up purchasing 3 dozen, but at the end they had caused a ripple of excitement, certainly not a splash. Kind of overly sweet for some, they are what they are, but compared to some delicious bakeries we have had the good fortune to visit and enjoy, this is like the Panda Express. Fast and efficient, but lacking superior taste. Not that it is likely that this review will reduce their market share, for Temecula is buzzing with traffic everywhere one goes. 3.5 Stars.
