As a gourmet chef and a foodie blogger. This place doesn’t deserve to be on the map at all. Watered down food and drinks. Bad and unprofessional staff. The waitress didn’t bring any drinks to the table. We had to get our own salt and pepper shakers. The table was super dirty when we sat down. Manager was nasty and harassing. She refused to adjust the bill for the nasty food that we didn’t eat. After we paid she kicked us out in a rude and harassing manner. She was super ghetto and waitress was just pure trailer trash. I wish I called the cops on her. We are still shocked that this type of person has a real job this place is not closed but it should be!!! A manager told my husband she is going to go outside to kick my ass! What the hell is wrong with this owner who hired her? I need to go to small claims court! Maybe pressing charges will shut them down for good!

Liked it. It’s nothing fancy. The breakfast special is two eggs, bacon (or sausage) and home style fries for $2.99. Simple, but good. It’s conveniently located across from the old town state park.

Yuck!. This was the first disappointing experience in Old Town. Thefood was tasteless and the service did not make up for it. I had the pancakes and they were rubbery. It took an act if congress to get our waitress’s attention and they were forgetful and could barely be bothered to smile. I won’t be back and with so many other places to eat in San Diego, I would suggest you go somewhere else.

Careless staff. We were in this restarant in August and ordered few items from the menu as a takeaway. Afetr we reached the hotel to our dissapointment we found out that 1 item from whatever we ordered and paid for was missing. I think they shoukd be more vigilant esp with the takeaways as it was quite lake by the time we reached the hotel and we had to catch an early morning flight the following day, therefore we couldnt call and tell them as to what happened.

I have only eaten breakfast here twice and really liked it. $2.99 for eggs any style, bacon and potatoes.

Cheap food for a cheap price. It is what it is and claims nothing more. Great choice for a family on a tight budget. At least it doesn’t make outrageous claims to be the best food in town like Coyote’s down the street.

Probably The Best choice in Town to enjoy a healthy dinner with 4 kids. Entres were a bargain 5$ per person. Chose between mahi, steak or chicken with steamed veggies and homemade mashed potatoes- add agit dinner roll and super friendly service.
