I’ve been to many donut shops, and Rose beats them all. Aside from the wide assortment of fresh and delicious donuts, they make the best breakfast sandwiches in California. The sandwiches are huge, made fresh, and available with a variety of ingredients. The coffee is good and priced right. The only negatives are that seating is limited (but this actually adds to its charm) and they only take CASH.

I’m not a huge coffee person but I wanted to try Vietnamese coffee and needed a study boost, and man I got it. This stuff is so strong! And it is definitely the best Vietnamese coffee I’ve ever had. I also tried a chocolate glazed donut and it was very fresh. For being the only person working and having quite a few customers coming in, the lady was pretty quick. They also serve sandwiches, bagels, and ice cream.

Holy coffee. I have to give Jazmen Marie Noelani credit for turning me onto this place, specifically the Vietnamese coffee. I usually only order black coffee because I find other concoctions to be either too sweet, or too strong for what you expect them to be. But their Vietnamese coffee was the perfect balance of a sweet treat that still packed a coffee-flavored punch! Also, their buttermilk donuts are bomb. Is it weird to say I like my donuts sour? Too much sweetness is overpowering for me, but the buttermilk flavor cut through the sweet glaze in an awesome way. My friend loved her red velvet donut, too. It was too sweet for me, but I’m not your typical donut lover 🙂 thejewskimo.com

The Vietnamese Coffee is addicting and cheap here. You cannot find a starbucks that can possibly offer you the same thing for the same price. Cannot be beat! However, the donut holes were not on par. They weren’t even sweet like I donut… 🙁 I dont even know how to describe it. I may try one of their other donuts though. I always believe in trying different items from the same place even if you don’t like one particular item that they sell.#Ibelieveinchances jazmenmarienoelani.com

WAY less expensive & FAR better than the YumYum up the street! My favorite donut the French Cruller (that airy twisted-looking one) but they’re popular &/or can’t sit out for hours. In their absence, ANYTHING I pick never disappoints. A big plus & something I’ve never seen at other shops: they make 2 sizes of apple fritter! The usual big one & a small one, which is more than enough for one. Open 24 hrs & near police station: what could be better??
