So I was drawn to a place that says coastal grill. Glad I was as Rubio’s has some of the better chicken tacos I can remember ever having.I liked them enough I’ll admit I’ve been there twice this week! Everything tastes fresh and all the flavored work great together.Both times there I had the 2 taco platter. 2 tacos, beans and nachos for $9. They have quite a bit of seafood options as well if that’s your thing.Anyhow very good food and quick service.
Rubios was by far our favorite out of the many La Jolla restaurants we visited! Great menu selection and everything was fabulous and very fresh tasting. Great salads! Service was quick and pleasant too!

Fish Taco’s????. This was my first experience with fish taco’s back in 2001. I was a convert on my first bite. Keep in mind I am from San Antonio, Texas. The shrimp burrito’s with lobster taco was my all time favorite. I know they have changed some things up since but any chance I get I look for Rubio’s. I was in Colorado once and I made sure to stop by for some taco’s. I only wish they would open a location here in San Antonio. Manny if you are still out there thank you for a wonderful experience.

Rubios. I love rubios. i like their bean-and-chese buritos
