They are worst at customer service..and the worst restaurant is san diego..they are also racist and treat customers like dirt..they look at you like a dirt if you come with small kids..you get no value for the money you pay and other himalayan chains aeojnd the city does a wonderful job compared to this crap
Taste of himalaya serves tasty food… Staffs are very friendly… Most of the Indian restaurants in USA don’t serve spicy food… I mean real spicy…. But ere when I asked them spicy I got spicy…. After a very long time had a wonderful Indian meal …
Not many good Indian restaurants in San Diego, but this is the best we have found. Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. Looking forward to the next visit.
Love this place for the butter chicken and garlic naan. They ask you for the spicy level for the curries so you can tailor it to your requirements.
Worst possible customer service! Do not go there! I was looking at the menu while my son to the bathroom and one of the waiters was utterly rude that unless I decide right there and then I can’t go in to the bathroom and on the empty tables we could not sit for two minutes to while I looked at the menu. The waiter was utterly rude!!! When I called later to talk to the manager the same employee picked up and started talking extremely rude to me. If you expect good service this is NOT the place!!!
The chicken tikka masala was very good, but the naan was a bit on the dry side. I LIVE for garlic naan, so I couldn’t help but be disappointed. I used to live close by, and that was my experience on more than one occasion. Overall it’s a good option, but it didn’t (personally) blow me away. thejewskimo.com
I am from India, and the did not like anything we ordered. The momos, from Tibet were really bad because of the way they prepared stuffing (vegetarian). Chicken makkhani was loaded with cinnamon. Fish curry was not good either.
