Nice facility, cheap ingredients. Orange Chicken tastes like cold hard donuts with a bit of chicken in the middle. Too much soy sauce in every dish, to substitute for taste lost on the steam table.
Dangerously Cold Food. Unless the food has been made in the last 10 minutes… everything, and I mean everything is barely warm or COLD. The chicken items were particularly disturbing, like the chicken wings, sitting in these containers without any steam rising. When they make fresh food they’ll MIX the cold stuff into it (Gross!) The soups were also lukewarm and a perfect petri dish of bacteria. Eat here at your own risk!
Better than most. Chin’s replaced a Busy Bee Chinese place. The steam table remains and the dishes are similar, but the thing that sets Chin’s apart has been the freshness of the ingredients. The vegetables are crisp not soggy and waterlogged like so many Chinese take-out places. They also have teriyaki, Hawaiian BBQ and other Asian specialties.
