The food is great the service is terrible. We took my mom here for her birthday we each ordered one cocktail and a meal the waiter was never seen again to offer another drink or anything else until the bill came he cleared one plate from the table and took our money. Needless to say I will never go back there again they ruined my moms birthday.
Great energy and Great food = Great experience. Went to the Citrus Grill on a Thur nite with my mom and her husband, who are world travelers and frenquent diners of fine food. I am always nervous over the restuant selection when my mother comes to visit for this reason. But from the entry of the rest, my fears soon began to subside as the exuberant energy from the ambiance and crowd took over. The rest was full and had several parties waiting. Thanks to our open table res, we were seated immediately. The quailty cocktails continued the festive experience. The service was acceptable, friendly & according to the level expected at the price point, but not above. The food however, was fabulous. We all had different app and entrees allowing for quite a sampling. The standouts were the ahi sampler, super fresh tasty & large and the diver scallops were cooked to perfection and the sauce rich but delicate. Overall, the combination of dynamics created a wonderful dining experience.
So-so. Great atmosphere being inside the orange circle in old towne orange, but slow service. just got a few appetizers to share and some drinks- did not try the actual meals. was not impressed for the price.
Good food, good service. Had a blackened chicken salad with habanero vinagriette. Pricy, but good, $14. Accompanied by a bowl of french onion soup, $3 with my salad, I’ve had better french onion soup at Mimi’s. Mom’s seafood chowder was good, hot, red, seafood mixed chowder, not clam chowder. Great Choice in Area. I have tried many restaurants in Orange/Anaheim/Yorba Linda while staying near Disneyland. By far, this is one of my favorites. Located in Old Town Orange, it has a varied menu with simply, but well prepared New American cuisine. Where can you get mushroom risotto as a side dish?? The prime grilled pork chop was excellent as was the salad. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and service is right-on. I highly recommend this place.
Poor Service. The service at the Orange Citrus City Grille was so poor it could not be made up by the excellent food. Our waiter treated the tables like an assembly line no matter when you arrived and were you were in the meal. He slowed down the service to so he could have us in the same place as his other tables. Don’t know what happened but the whole staff was not interested in the patrons. Sad to see this happen to a grest place.
