This place has fantastic food — and serious bang-for-your-buck. I met Suki Beasla here, and we each took advantage of the killer dinner special: You get a soup, spring roll, wonton, glass of wine/soda, an entree and a scoop of ice cream all for…wait for it…$12.95!!! For that price, I’d be happy with good food, but everything we ate was excellent. To start, I ordered the tom kha soup. It was spicy, creamy and delicious, with a nice amount of chicken in it. The spring roll and wonton quickly followed. They were small but well-cooked — crispy, without being too greasy! Then came the entrees. I ordered my go-to Thai dish, pad see ew. Suki ordered the drunken noodles. Both were fantastic. My only complaint was mine came with American broccoli rather than the Chinese broccoli it’s usually served with at other places. But that’s just a personal preference. The sauce was the perfect balance of spicy and sweet; I’m really just splitting hairs here!Side note: The service here was also excellent. If you’re in the area, this is a delicious Thai option 🙂 thejewskimo.com

Hidden Treasure. Tucked away on a busy Katella Avenuein Orange, this small, newly purchased Thai restaurant is worth finding! The service is friendly–a person greets you at the door, and the food equals the service! Portions are abundant and the flavors are just right–indeed a fusion of Western and Asian. I can only speak for the fresh vegetarian dishes, which my friends and I enjoy for our weekly lunch get together, but others in my party have lauded their chicken dishes, as well. What a hidden treasure this is–and there is a laundromat next door, if your clothes get some of those fabulous sauces on them!

Getting my Thai on. Well, here’s another Thai restaurant in my home town that I’m late to the party on. The strip mall that this place is in is pretty dead. So I was surprised to see how much business this family-run place was doing at lunch. After eating here I can see why. The lunch menu has a big selection of items starting at $7.50. That includes your chosen entree, salad and soup. The soup is a simple cabbage based soup that is a pleasant start. The salad really exceeded my expectations for a side salad as part of a combo meal. It featured cantaloupe and avocado besides the lettuce and tomato and had a very nice dressing. Along side the salad is an egg roll.I had the Kang Ped for my entree. That is the meat (or tofu) of your choice in a red curry and coconut milk sauce with eggplant and sweet red pepper. Very good. They serve it with the usual side of white sticky rice.It was a totally satisfying lunch for a reasonable price. I’m just kicking myself for taking so long to discover this place.

Everything it should be. If you need to get thai’ed there is no better place. Family owned and operated… the service is wonderful and is only topped by their wonderful food! I’m a huge fan of Tom Ka Kai Soup… I order it at EVERY thai place I try and Thai Swan makes the best! They will also make any dish as spicy as you want it and will even challenge you to go spicier… the owner had her chef make us a special pork dish (not on the menu) that was stir fried to perfection and perfectly molten hot! They have great lunch prices too… seven or eight bucks for a three course lunch.

Family owned and operated. Small and simple but love the food and the service. Great lunch specials. Love the curries. Most who go there are regulars. Highly recommended!!!
