Linx is a neighborhood gem if you’re looking for gourmet hotdogs and sausages. The menu isn’t as diverse as Wusthaus or as whimsical as Dog Haus with their Hawaiian buns. Linx does provide a good combination of various sausages from your typical frankfurter to the German bratwurst, and with out breaking the bank.We came here on a Sunday afternoon, not realizing that the streets were closed for a Vintage Car event. Luckily we found parking about a block away, and at 11:30 the place had a line out the door. Fortunately, people were eating their food near their vintage car, so we were able to find 2 seats facing the street. The last time I was at Linx was about 2 years ago, and there were some changes in their menu. For starters, they used to have the menu on the chalkboard by the register. No one passed a menu in line, so when you got to the cashier, you had to peruse through the menu, while people were waiting to place their order. I inquired about the Currywurst, but that was no longer on the menu. I ordered modified version of the double down: a fried dog with chili, bacon, pinto beans, cheese on a poppy seed bun. I guess that’s a Deluxe Linx with added chili. Stephen had the Beer Brat, which was a Nurenburg style bratwurst, with bacon saurkraut on a pretzel bun, topped with a spicy mustard. Both were messy to eat, but oh so good! We added a large order of their fries, and had 4 dipping sauces: FriteSaus, Honey BBQ, Spicy Mustard, and Curry Ketchup.Stephen had a Melon Gros beer, and it went well with his brat. Overall, it was a good meal, and we left satisfied and messy fingers (which could explain why they give you a fork and knife) but worth it. callmemochelle.com

The fries were great and loved my meal. I ordered the street dog and it was great. Fresh ingredients, good service, and a pretty good deal
I am not even a hot dog fan, maybe eat 1 or 2 a year and I loved this place…soooo delicious! We tried three different kinds, the blue cheese BBQ sauce onion straws was our favorite! Messy but good. Slaw dog was our second and then Chicago dog. All were super tasty! Definitely going back. Service was great, very friendly and welcoming, especially the host at the door!
A MUST do…Seriously!. Well if you like hot dogs or sausages of course!I will admit… despite the slickness of the venue, the large dog laden menu (I was totally fiending for a dog on this date,) the warmth of the staff, and the great beer options I was still apprehensive to begin, BUT then I ate the food and it solidified itself as one of my favorites!I have been wanting to check this place out since they recently opened and I am so glad I finally did! This place managed to impress me on every level!I had one of their Signature Dogs the Beer Brat which is made up of a Neurenberger Bratwurst, Bacon-Apple Kraut, and Beer Mustard on a fluffy soft Pretzel Roll. The Brat had a really nice snap to it and was simply filled with delicious flavor and varying textures. I would get more into it, but I’d really like to save the etherial experience for you.All was not perfect though. I won’t lie to any of you and make you believe that this is THE spot that knows how to please everyone because not even Disneyland can do that! Their Belgian Frites while being pretty good I found to have just a little too much salt on them. I came to this not only from my tastebuds, but also my fingers that I had to keep wiping off. They were still pretty good, but they were just a little too oversalted. I did however love the Chorizo Mayo that I requested with them. Other than the salt issue the fries were flawless. They proved hot and crunchy on the outside while remaining warm and moist on the inside just like a proper fry should be!A bit of a heads up with regards to the food here… They do specialize in Artisan (or Gourmet) food here so the cost to size ratio is a bit different to your average dog place like say….(MVP or PCH,) but if you’re a lover of delicious food then you will love it here.Service by the whole staff was so kind, cordial, genuine, courteous, expedient, and attentive. They kept the place spotless! There is seating both inside and out.
