HOW MUCH????. My daughter, her BF, and my SO went to dinner at Ohshima on Tuesday night…….. We are not really big eaters, and my daugher used to work at at sushi restaurant, so we thought that she would be able to guide us if necessary…………….. I have always made it a rule of thumb that if I walk into a fish restaurant, and it smells too fishy, to walk out….. I should have walked out, but thought how bad can it be. I tried to order standard items, but had a hard time finding them, even my daughter was stumped. The wait staff, while very polite, was very hard to understand, and I believe mixed up our orders….. I really don’t know as I didn’t recognize much of what was brought out., and was not impressed whatsoever………….I did really enjoy the garlic edamame, large saporro beer was very reasonably priced, and we had two bottle of hot sake…………….. However, the check at the end of the evening was $139.00…. plus a $25 tip………. for a casual night out. Am I that far off to think that is a bit steep?KP
