East Chapman could become breakfast central. Let’s just say that the Broken Yolk is a huge improvement over the sad old Carrows that used to be here. They remodeled the place extensively and even added a back patio for outdoor dining. The place was doing a booming busy the first week they opened and testing the new kitchen and wait staff. I think they held up well to the pressure. Unlike the barely there breakfasts of Carrows, the Broken Yolk delivers filling breakfasts and lunches. They have a strong Mexican section as one might expect from a chain out of San Diego. With the Original Pancake House and Johnny Reb’s just down the street, East Chapman is turning into a destination for breakfast
