You’ll be surprised how comfortable and elegant this lovely restaurant is.Everyone is welcoming. The burratta is so popular; it’s good. I probably won’t crave it. You should order it to share with multiple people. Lovely establishment. Don’t miss out.
PHENOMENAL!. We went here while visiting from out of town. This was the last evening out during our trip. It was perfect! The place is quaint and romantic. Our waiter, Arthur, was fantastic … very knowledgable and attentive. The chef came out and mingled, which we enjoyed as well.We went during the week and were able to bring our own wine which we had purchased during our trip to the Temecula Valley wineries. The bread and dipping oil that they start you out with was the first pleasant surprise. Loved it! We had the strawberry spinach salad which was just perfect and oh so fresh. The burrata (whipped mozzerella) appetizer that we ordered had a fig glaze on top and again was just amazing!!! On to our entrees … my husband had the Pappardelle Gamberetti which was fresh and full of great garlic and seafood. Loved every bite. But, the real showstopper was the evening special potatoe gnocchi … wasn’t on the regular menu … but, it was super spectacular. It was gnocchi with a cream sauce with pancetta and peas and resh parmesan and a poached egg on top. Every bite was a flavor explosion and the gnocchi was perfectly done.On to dessert … we decided to try the specialty Pope’s Pillow and we were so happy we did. It is a beautifully done dessert with oh so fresh strawberries. The table next to us got the tiramisu … which is always a favorite of mine … and it looked to-die-for as well. We will defintiely be back next time we are in town and will recommend it to everyone we know visiting Pacific Beach!!!!
Great food, great wine, and great service! We had a great experience! The chef is the owner, and the fact that he makes rounds to all the tables to see how they like his food says a lot about his desire to provide a great experience. We’ll be going back!

Gustavo. This is a very cozy restaurant with really good food, i ordered the brucheta and it was very unique, it had straberries on top of the tomatoes and cheese, i also had the spinach salad with the pecans and it was excellent, and they have a very good dessert tart made with marscapone which i really enjoyed… prices are fair services is very good…
Late Sunday dinner. Arrived close to 10pm and was happily seated – an ability other Nth American restaurants tend to lack. Good food; well priced; great waiter and manager made us feel right at home.Food 3/5Service 4.5/5Value 4/5
The food here is so well presented and prepared. Very authentic. The waitstaff is very attentive as well. I am not familiar with Italian wines but my server was very helpful with suggestions. Speaking of wine, did I mention that mon-weds nights are no corkage fee nights! Also, be sure to save room fir dessert… Homemade tiramisu!
