Bit of a sketchy area, but definitely worth the stop. I come here about once every two weeks and the quality has been very good every time I come. Rarely busy. Tv behind the bar running ESPN. The PB special and Alaska are killer but I’ve had somewhere around 15 different items and Havnt been dissappointed once. 50% special on many rolls everyday too. Don’t expect a lively conversation though because the sushi chef and waitress both don’t speak very much English
This is my favorite place to eat in PB. I have hesitated to tell the world about Wasabi because I’m selfish, but today I’m in a good mood. I think this place has by far the BEST FISH in San Diego and for such reasonable price. It’s family owned and operated. Bobby is my preferred chef and always supplies a beautiful selection. My fav is their chirashi bowl. It’s perfect!! But so is so many other options. It’s so hard to pick.

Great prices and great food. The presentation of the sushi is well done. The mackerel is fantastic.
Nice decor. Great service. have inside and outside dining. great decor. a little more music would’ve made it a little livelier since it was slow.
