Thanks yelpers i totally believed you again I don’t know why this BBQ joint has such great reviews. I was soooooo disappointed and felt gross after eating here.Came here after work for lunch I was starving like always.-ordered thetri tip sandwich (mild BBQ) which came with cole slawAnd I asked for mac n cheese I stead of fries, which was in a little tiny containerI also really wanted to try the collard greensAs in a little tiny container lol (which is the small size)And a can of PepsiTotal $14 yicks!!!I saw my sandwich it looked like a weenie sandwich, the meat looked and tasted kind of dry.The greens….. they were boiled and that was it. This disappointed me the mostThe mac n cheese, tasted like the macaroni was over cooked and the cheese tasted bland. The consistency was nice but mehhOverall everything was bland and mehhh.Sitting is limited, I thinks it’s more of a to go order place, but I will not be ordering in or to go sorry. I was just really disappointed, I wish it was better 🙁

Good solid BBQ!…in a neighborhood where Mexican food rules.. I had the tri tip sandwich with spicy sauce and my buddy had the pops burger. Both were excellent…BUT after I saw the BBQ chicken salad come out for someone else, I had food envy and wanted that too. Next time, I will order it. Not much room to sit, so it’s better for take outs or a tailgate lunch. Owners are very nice…food is priced right. Parking is tight, but doable. I’LL BE BAAACK.

Great place. Corn bread is the best I’ve had. It’s very moist not dry and crumbly. The mac & cheese is also delicious. The owner and the rest of the workers are very nice. I recommend this place to everybody.

Great Service. Wow it’s best, i used to drive to la to get ribs, and wings, no more since i discovered this place.service and quality great, the sauce to die for, great 7 up cake like grandma used to make, prices are affordable, its not like other barbeque places where u go broke .i wish they expand to other areas.17 Jul, 2008Great Food. Working in Pacoima is hard because there aren’t many options for lunch but this place is awesome. The customer service is great, the prices are resonable, the portions are huge and the food is to die for. Make sure you get the spicy sauce, I think I could eat it on my cereal. The place used to be the rib rack but once the children took over the place went downhill and out of business. The new owners are really nice people dedicated to good, quality food. You will love the cornbread. I live in Canyon Country but will make the trip on the weekends because it is worth it.
