We were travelling through and came across Billy Reed’s quite by accident… so glad we did!!!.. Breakfast was wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better group of people. Wonderful!!!! Absolutely wonderful. We can’t get enough of this place…. we keep going back every day. Breakfasts are amazing and really reasonable, the omelettes are huge, and the eggs benedict are great.The service has been very good the times we’ve been.Our first time was on Monday and we had the meatloaf and prime rib. I gotta tell for what we paid we felt we made out like bandits. The peas soup and clam chowder we started with were both made in house and delicious.The meat loaf was full of flavour, the rice pilaf was excellent and the broccoli was cooked perfectly.The prime rib was huge and very very tender, I ordered it with a sweet potato which was good but I don’t think I’d get it again.We had lemon meringue pie for dessert which was ok we found it a tad salty.The place was packed on a Monday and I gotta tell you that you should really check this place out.Our service was prompt, attentive and friendly.p.s. it was nice to see the owners circulating and speaking with clients.
Ole’ School Diner. The atmosphere of the joint lends to the credibility of the food. It’s been a tradition in the PS area for sometime, and I found it to be everything one would hope. If you want it, they’ll most likely have it on the menu. The Service is very good, the prices are reasonable, and the food is very good. They aren’t reinventing the wheel at Billy’s, but if you need a large table, they’ve got several.
Cool entrance under a covered drive thru complete with koi pond and attractive architecture. Food was served quickly and the servers were very personable
Horrible! The waitress wa…. Horrible!The waitress was clueless and jalf of the meals came out wrong. That is if they even came out at all. One person had to send their meal back 2 times! Then the manager came to our table, and in a very nasty tone, he threw us out! We had been polite and well behaved, but since THEY kept messing up, we were thrown out! This restaurant may have been good before, but since the original manager has come back, it has become horrible! Avoid Billy Reed’s at all costs!
