Stuck in the 50’s. We had an open table reservation at 7. We arrived at 655. Could not find reservation. They squeezed us in. 90* outside and they sit us by a firepir. We asked for a different table. He checks with the hostess. Comes back and says the only other table us inside. I tell him there are 5 empty tables of 4 and unless their tables are being held late for them, we would like just one of them. He says to pick a table. We do. Food was good. Service was spotty. We were offered starters and main courses that were for other tables. Way over priced but when you go back 50 years you have to be patient. Evening ended with valet bringing me the wrong car…
Romatic Location for a Sub-Par Meal. This restaurant is a tough one to review. I like the decor and ambiance. Definitely a romantic destination when you sit out on the patio and night by the numerous gas fireplaces set in the ground. The service was also very good, friendly and not pretentious like you’d find in some upscale places. However, the food was just okay and you would expect to be wowed at a place like this, especially for the money they charge. The only dish that really impressed me was the Circa Noodle appetizer, the rest just didn’t deliver is taste, creativity or presentation. If you want a romantic location for a date I would recommend it, just hope your date isn’t a gourmand.
Superb!. Having been to almost every restaurant in Palm Springs, this place stands out for professional service! You have the feeling of being in a lush, privately owned restaurant even though it is in the center of a large hotel. The vibe is jumping and the service is quick and unobtrusive. The fantastic food was innovative and delicious. We have become regulars and recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Very nice restaurant. Dinner menu had nice options with some meals able to be ordered as half serves. Food was fresh and interesting. Well worth a try.
We ate only breakfast there. Really good. Not overpriced like hotels often are. For lunch I would not eat there. Instead try Riviera’s poolside bar. And for dinner eat off the excellent bar menu by the pool or on lobby starlite lounge.
