Likely the best food I have had in Palm Springs (I know, not much of an endorsement given the lousy options). I have been twice and both times the service has been awesome and the food/drinks are excellent value for the money. The patio is also awesome and a great place to start a Thursday night. The only complaint is the guy at the host stand is pretty useless- fairly rude and gruff, which doesn’t help my irritation as I look at several empty tables while waiting to be seated on my reservation that is 20 minutes late. I think he might be the owner? Small issue as the food is still worth putting up with his drama.

I was trepidacious to go here after reading reviews on this site and others. But I was pleasantly surprised! The hostess was friendly, the service (Enrique et al) were attentive, and the food was good. We were in time for the early bird special which had a surprising number of choices. Definitely will return.09 Aug, 2012Went here for lunch our first day on this visit, they’ve remodeled so everything looks new. Food was good, service was good. Took half our food with us for dinner.

Went there with a couple of out of town guests. Two ordered rib steaks one ordered pork chop. I only ordered the wedge salad. When they came, the two steaks were very rare. I thought,,,, MMmmm I would like this. Bit… The pork chop was too. When the waiter asked how is everything , my friend said, this pork chop is kinda rare. The waiter said… Well…. You didn’t ask how you wanted it done. Won’t be back there.

Always a Favorite. We ate here twice over the holidays -in both cases with guests from out of town. Everyone loved the restaurant and the food. Kaiser is probably my favorite place in Palm Springs because the food and the service are consistently good.

Listed as gluten free friendly. Only one item on menu was gluten free, a salad. Not very friendly.

Average Fare. Let’s be honest – most everything in Palm Springs is pricey, especially in this part of Palm Springs. Critiquing the restaurant for being on par with many other establishments in the area in terms of price really doesn’t seem fair.We stopped for dinner with the kids, making it in time for their happy hour menu which runs until 6:00 PM. We wouldn’t have stopped otherwise, because the prices were on par with plenty of other places we had already passed up. But the happy hour menu had an eclectic mix of appetizer-ish foods for the $10 range. The kids opted for a meat pizza with sausage and pepperoni. There were also whole cloves of garlic on most every slice, which our kids (who like garlic) found excessive. The pizza itself seemed a tad on the overdone side, but was tasty enough. We sampled their platter for two, which included hummus, olive tapenade and roasted bell peppers. All of these were very good, but they were rather stingy with the sesame crackers and pita slices that came with it. Not nearly enough to actually eat the three items. I was using pizza crusts as well as the pre-dinner toasted bread to help finish off the dipping options. Another person in the party ordered the tempura, which they enjoyed. Another person opted for a gluten-free burger (no bun) and fries. The fries were on the thin-cut side, crispy, and quite tasty.Well drinks, house wines & basic beers were also on sale for $5. The house margarita really isn’t something to brag about, but for $5 it’s not terrible. Service was good. Atmosphere is nice, though the MMA fights they had on the television over the bar seemed somewhat incongruous with the rest of the decor. The food here isn’t bad if you can get it for a discounted price. If the full dinner menu is at the same quality as the happy hour menu, I’d probably not be happy paying the higher prices for it.

One of our fav restaurants. Every time we visit Palm Springs, my husband and I always take the opportunity to go to the Kaiser Grille. Typically on Thursday nights during the street festival, we sit out on the patio and enjoy the crab cakes and chicken piccata, both which are scrumptious. We recommend this restaurant to all our friends.
