Went for bingo night on Monday (made a reso before) ordered a vegan dish – the cauliflower burger (I am not vegan but someone told me it was good). And… THERE WAS HALF A CHICKEN FINGER IN IT!! Thank god i am not actually a vegan because I would probably be horrified. But really?!! Anyway the food was medicocre at best. The bingo lady was awesome! But their sound system was horrible . No one could hear a thing it was so muffled everyone was talking about how not being able to hear ruined their experience. I agree because she is an entertainer and would be great with a real sound system. The restaurant fills up every Monday and they can’t pay for a legit sound system?? Come on
We had a good meal here. The place is a much younger crowd than other places in Palm Springs, which was refreshing. The menu is limited, but the choices are thoughtful. We had a buttermilk fried chicken sandwich & a pork taco dish, as well as olive oil mashed potatoes. While it was a bit of a wait to get our meals (nothing overly unreasonable), we enjoyed chilling & absorbing the vibe of the place. When the meals arrived, they were tasty. The wait staff were very friendly & working to staying on top of things, as place was busy. I understand it is a new menu. We thought what we had was great.
