This feels like a truly authentic small town restaurant in Japan. No attitude and a workaday vibe. Sushi and sashimi were great! I recommend listening to the chefs suggestions; he knows whats fresh! Ive posted a pic of the hours (closed on Tuesday and Wednesday) and the specials the evening we were there.
Worst sushi & overpriced. This was by far the worst sushi I have ever had. The sunomono salad had ONE tiny, off-tasting shrimp & nothing but cucumbers. The pickle was nearly $7 and even the carrot in it was not edible… Tuna sashimi was lacking in every possible way- texture, taste, price. The spicy salmon roll had some terrible tasting salmon with what appeared to be a smudge of crushed chilis on the top. We left hungry as we did not even finish the small amount of food we ordered and payed $50 for. WORST SUSHI EVER. OVERPRICED.

Overpriced. $35 for aassorted sushi, $7 for beer. Mediocre food at high quality price point. Welcome to California, where the sushi place didnt even have a California roll, unless you were willing toPlop down $35 for it
