This place is excellent. The hot pastrami is fantastic. The meat is incredibly flavorful, and the perfect amount of mustard compliments it well. The service is probably the best part though. She makes great suggestions and is incredibly friendly, whether you’re the only customer or one of several. I highly recommend anyone in the mood for a sandwich to try it out!

I have been cooking for about three years professional, worked for some of the best chefs, like Wolfgang puck…And Well Id Like to say i know my food… I go to Maries at least once a month or when i get the time ti drive to Palmdale. I have yet to be let down by a sandwich there. My wife always gets the Italian, shes picky but loves this sandwich! Me I Usually get the Pastrami, Its th best ive ever had.. Well Besides the one i make ha JK.. KInda..Today I walked into the Deli and it Smelled like STEAK!! I asked Bret what he made last he told me it was a Philly! So Thats what I… Its a Little Different Defiantly west coast style (Peppers, Mushrooms,provolone) But it was juicy, flavorful, and just amazing… They put a little mayo on it which threw me off since I am not a fan of Mayo, but it gave it a great mouth feel and worked for the sandwich. I love this place, and hope there there for awhile maybe even open up a second location, with more menu items… Id love to work for them!
Critics Don’t Always Know Best. All the sandwiches on the menu are great. From the Pastrami to the Tuna. The sandwiches have more meat and cheese then any sandwich shop I’ve ever eaten at. The size, quality and taste rank up there with Blue Birds in San Pedro California, however thats a long drive for a wich. Also Brett and Marie more then offen call their patrons by name and are very personable. The service is quick and friendly. Note: It’s not always best to rush perfection. Also on cold winter days Brett makes an awesome homemade chili. 🙂 Yum Yum! Soups are all very good. I was also taken back by the fact that even though Maries Deli is a fairly new business ( 9 months)they give back to community by donating food to the homeless. Thanks Marie and Brett for the wonderful addition you’ve added to our community and our dining selections. The above critic may be a competitor based on a lack of facts about the food quality, prices, atmosphere, and recommendations for improvement that commonly accompany a critics review of their dining experience.
Marie’s Deli Mediocre at Best!. I work just down the street so I thought I’d give it a try.Well what can I say, the food is mediocre at best and the service is just OK, I can think of a dozen other places near by that are a 100 times better.If I were you I’d pass this one by and go somewhere else for lunch or dinner, you’ll spend the same money and feel a lot better.
Sandwiches are super good and people are very nice. Family owned.
