Their coffee and hot chocolate are delicious and really good quality, but pretty pricey compared to other cafes. Downsides are that sitting space is limited, and there are no outlets so you can’t work in there really.
Cute and tiny cafe famous for hot chocolate, I opted for their pista cake. Too dry for my liking, could’ve had more pistachios and cake been more moist.

I like their coffees. I haven’t been here in years but the last time the Batista argued with about how I should drink my coffee. I’ve been to Italy so many times and I’ve never engaged in such arrogance over a cappuchino I can only guess the Barista had been trained to be surly at Starbucks.
Cappuccino!. The cappuccino I had reminded me of what they were like when I was in Italy. This will be a regular destination for me.
The Empirical Italian Cafe. At the heart of downtown Palo Alto, Caffe del Doge is a gourmet coffeehouse catering to the surrounding business community, local Palo Altans, and Europeans. It is the emperical Italian cafe where espressos are their jewels and cappuccinos are their hallmark. A beautiful location for dates and business meetings, simultanously; other delicious espresso specialties, hot chocolates, and wines are also served.
