I think this place has a cute ambiance and decent smoothies, but my positive feelings toward this restaurant end there. I’ve been to this establishment at least 6 or 7 times, and each instance I’m left less than impressed (the price doesn’t help either!)I had a shaking beef salad there that was okay once. But that’s it.

Had a late (2pm) lunch with my wife at Calafia today. Greeted and sat promptly then all downhill. Took several minutes to get water and take our orders, a trio of chicken soft tacos for myself and a bacon cheeseburger with fries for my wife. Considering the emptiness of the resturant we expected exceptional service which we did not receive. Our water glasses, our only drinks, were not even offered a refill until after we had finished our meal. The chicken in the otherwise very good tacos was almost cold when delivered as was my wife’s fries. The $13 burger meat was quite small compared to an $8 burger from either Chili’s or Cheesecake Factory. I will not eat there again. 2/5 Stars.

Great!. I discovered this place about 10 days ago and have been in three times already. Their Vegan Pizza and the Vegan Club sandwich (at the market) are fantastic. The service has been wonderful and the wine list is pretty good too. I’m living on student loans and will still be in at least once a week (though I’ll add that the prices are VERY reasonable as well)!

Catering is from Whole Foods. Hi,I’ve never eaten at this place, but I was looking at their catering menu while coincidentally having the Whole Foods Catering menu open in another window…. They’re the same!!!!! Calafia offers fewer items, but they are essentially 100% the same. While the prices aren’t that different, I think I’d rather guy from the source then have it pass through someone else first.

Calafia was tasty!. We ate at Calafia recently and really enjoyed it. We eat out a lot in the area and the other places we tried have not lived up to the hype. At Calafia we tried several smaller plates and shared them. Everything was good, but the big surprise for me was the gingered mashed potatos. I’ll be trying to make these at home this weekend! The pork wrap was also very good. I have not tried the Cafe a go go yet, but walked thru and saw many things that looked good. We’ll be back for more soon.

Clean, fresh flavors. Came with 3 co-workers. The lunch special (steak salad) was great. Ann said the veggie burger was good, better than typical. The New Bohemia salad was impressive. Panini was tasty, tho’ not exceptional. Overall, I was impressed with the freshness and quality at an average price per plate of $11. Service was speedy and friendly.

Really nice and friendly staff. Had an awesome Guinness cupcake on St. Paddys.
