Been to Cocunuts with my ex manager. I’m a big fan of caribbean jerk chicken and this is the ‘go to place’. I loved their Jerk chicken wings with BBQ sauce which were spicy and deliciously done, goat curry with rice and plantains was mild and nicely cooked. Food portions were quite good.A very relaxed environment with caribbean colors and live music(evenings may be bit nosey). Love this place, great service and amazing food!!

Coconuts is a big restaurant with a nice patio and friendly staff. I went straight for the braised oxtail that was indeed fall-off-the-bone. It was delicious and great with the added spicy habanero sauce on the side. The buttermilk corn bread was great as well, very moist. The cocktails not the best, but I’m coming back for the food. Delicious!

What I got: Jerk chicken and oxtail comboThe food was amazing. The chicken was tender and so was the oxtail. Both were extremely flavorful and the rice complimented perfectly. The plantains were ok–I wish they were a bit crunchier. The service was terrible. I think I just got a bad server (?) but my dish didn’t come with the promised plantains and my server filled up my sister’s glass with water but skipped my obviously empty cup. His attitude also wasn’t the greatest–not sure what was up with that. The atmosphere is great for a casual night out for dinner. They have enough space to allow bigger parties as well.
