Definitely a must try place for all foodies, vegans, healthy food fans and people who really care about what they eat. I felt the restaurant had a great vibe with lot of originality. I thought the environment was fantastic. It was beautiful and modern. I do love modern style resurants. However, I am a californian, all I cook is health food. I know how to cook vegan food better than this. I wish I could say better of this place, but I had the corn chowder. I normally love corn chowder. This one was watery and fairly tasteless. I mean, there are thicker nut milks than soy… They even have coconut cream, yes, throw some in there to substitute the cheese, add some cillantro and just a teaspoon of two of lime juice and you have yourself a lighter more Caribbean twist on a veggie staple of winter comfort food. I just didn’t feel like much thought was put into the food. Anyone can make bad vegan food, but it takes love and creativity to make good vegan food. I’m just saying that for an expensive Palo alto joint, the food should be better cared for. All in all, it was okay, but I left feeling awkward and disappointed.
