Peninsula fountain and grill also called Palo Alto creamery is a great place for classic American delights including the thick milkshakes. I got the Mocha almond fudge shake and it was good but I would not say extraordinary. I have had milkshakes in other places in the bay area which are clearly better. the place packs a crowd at odd times which clearly shows the quality of the food.
Awesum!. Great shakes!!
Milkshakes!. Get an amazing milkshake and some good food. Takes you back to old school cafe booth and counter food. Comfort food at it’s best.
This place was classic- a great little diner where I had breakfast with my dad. Their pancakes are the bomb, and so are their hash browns. All the pies and baked goods looked homemade, and the cinnamon rolls looked just outstanding. I’d go back here any day.
Old fashioned soda fountain restaurant. Had a pretty good breakfast, over easy done correctly, super thick tasy bacon, home fries done w/grilled onions and thick home made wheat bread toast. They pour a quality OJ and our server took care of business, he earned his 20%. The pies and baked goods behind the counter looked amazing. Took a ginger cookie home that I completely enjoyed.
Amazing vanilla milkshakes!
59 Years and Counting. Barbara and I have been eating at the Creamery since we arrived in Palo Alt in 1950. We have breakfast there about five times a week…lunch three times and dinner twice. What keeps us going there is the excellent food and outstanding staff. We are avid boosters as you can see.
