Best donuts in the world. If you only needed one reason to live in Paso, it would be because it is the home of DK’s donuts. The owners and always nice and friendly to new comers and regulars alike. And the donuts…. Oh the donuts. They are like biting into heaven. The dough itself has a great flavor and has the slightest crunch from the frying. Go for the chocolate twist or maple bar. Yum. You also can’t go wrong with the orange cake donut. Make sure to try the coffee too. It’s fresh at all hours of the day and night. I live out of state now, but still have family ship me boxes of these donuts across country as I haven’t found anything else as good. FYI the buttermilk bars hold up best in the mail.
