At the time of this review I note that this is a newly opened restaurant and it’s possible that they might do some tweaking to the menu. This is a Mexican Style casual Restaurant. It’s not the kind where they give you chips and salsa, it’s the kind where you pay around $7.00 for chips and several kinds of salsas. I had the ahi tuna and watermelon salad ($16.00). My tuna had a grey sear to it but seemed fresh. They used a red pepper in my salad that was extremely hot that was much hotter than a jalapeo. This also was a high acid salad. The few bites where I had watermelon in were good but this salad had very little watermelon in it. If they change the recipe to include small pieces of watermelon through out the salad it would be much better. My husband’s meal faired much better. The braised short rib was made with a delicious green chili sauce and jalapeo mashed potatoes. I noticed on the wall behind me that they offered specials but wasn’t told about them from my waitress.
