Cute pub, meh fish tacos. Maybe I just should have avoided fish tacos at an Irish joint, but whatever, it’s California–aren’t they supposed to know how to make fish tacos? The whole ensemble was delicious, with the exception of the dirty tasting white fish. I don’t know if I wish that I’d had gotten the shrimp or chicken instead! Small pub fare menu which seemed nice to me.
So so. Had the prime rib last night, it was just okay, nothing great about it. There was not any dry rub seasoning on it which left the cut of beef relying entirely on the quality of the cut, (which was nothing special) and it was cold. The wedge salad is uninspired, however the Mashed potatoes were great. Wonderful atmosphere but lousy service. On a side note the bartender could make a great black and tan, and Half and Half.
