You are a kid in a candy store when you go to Powell’s Sweet Shop. Everything that you can imagine and candy you never seen before is here. I saw giant gummy bears that were as big as a child’s Teddy Bear. Many exotic chocolates, all kinds of sours, hand made candies, gums, candy that looked like vegetables and much much more. The Willy Wonka Movie plays on a Screen the whole time you are here and autographs of the cast are on display where the movie is playing. I purchased a few candies when I was here and had some delicious locally made gelato. The gelato flavors I picked for my cup were coconut and pineapple. They were delicious and delicious together. I didn’t know what the candy peas and carrots were and to my surprise they tasted like sugar coated mints. I also purchased chocolate covered biscotti’s. Some tasted like chocolate covered popcorn and others tasted like waffle cone to me. I saw impulse mini gourmet chocolate bars at the cash register and I picked up a .05 ounce mini bar called Sri Lankan Coconut and Curry. It was delicious and made of high quality ingredients but very costly. ($4.99 for 1/2 oz. candy bar)
