Better than Chipotle by a lot!. I went to Tortilla Town with my friend expecting decent food. Instead, I got the biggest, tastiest, most satisfying burrito that I’ve ever eaten. Whenever my friends come to visit me from out of town, we always stop here before heading out for the day. The options are amazing and the food is some of the best in the area. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
Good taqueria. Tortilla Town has the look and feel of a chain. And given this is Tortilla Town #1, and their website has franchising information, it would appear they are positioning themselves as such. They even like to blurt out slogans in unison, which recalls Moe’s Southwest Grill (personally I can do without the gimmick, but whatever).I love that they have the skewer of pork for Al Pastor. Unfortunately on our visit, the meat was tough, which really surprised me. The chicken was a bit bland as well, and I miss the charcoal taste expected of a place like this. The asada, however, was quite good. They have a nice fiery red salsa, and while it meets my standards for heat, it could also have used a little more flavor. I suspect we didn’t hit the place on its best day, and I’d love to go back. Paso Robles is a gorgeous community and Tortilla Town is a good stop before heading out to the wineries, or the lovely Pacific Coast Highway stretch up to Monterey (which is what we were doing). regularjoesguide.blogspot.com
Good food. Big portions, good food, I left there full and happy. Great place.
Great healthy fast food option! I had tha salad with grilled chicken, cheese, romaine, black beans and grilled onions and peppers and loved it. Also loved that it was a 6 PT meal on WW! My hubby had the carnitas burrito and loved it! Their process is just like Chipotle but tastes much better! Count on $10 per person with a soda for anything you order…
Cannot get enough! Consistently the best mexican food in town. Made from scratch seals the deal. A+
Holy Guacamole. I dig the guacamole!
Just like chipotle but really good carne asada and fresh salsa don’t expect to eat in only 4 booths
